Welcome to SALT

A range of weekly Bible-based material from Scripture Union. SALT offers a programme of discovering God's Word and applying it to the life of your whole church and local community, for use on Sundays or midweek.

SALT will no longer be published from October. It has been replaced by Light, Scripture Union's exciting new range of Bible-based children's, youth and all-age worship material. See our new web site.

What is SALT?

It is a programme which invites people of all ages to join together on a journey of discovery, to explore and respond to God's word in the Bible and grow in their relationship with Jesus. SALT aims to provide opportunities for children, young people and adults to hear, receive and respond to what God wants to offer them, through his word and with the guidance of his Spirit.

SALT all ages magazine cover SALT consists of five quarterly leaders' magazines in four age-bands, plus all-age and adult worship, all of which include photocopiable resources. There are also separate colour magazines for the children in each age group.

Each weeks' material includes spiritual input and lots of ideas for leaders, Bible-based activities, photocopiable resources and corresponding full-colour children's activity leaflets for the children and young people.

SALT Users web site

Registered users of our web site can download photocopy pages, training articles and services for special occasions, as well as see additional resources enhancing our printed materials. There is also a discussion area.
